By and large, I would say yes. I do not have children nor ever had the desire to. I personally don’t think we need to add more humans to the planet at the moment, though I realise that for many people it’s a very important and life-affirming goal. Obviously, I have no influence or say over that, and I don’t berate people for it, not even those close to me. I guess leave the having of children to those who are enthusiastic about the idea and willing to commit a substantial part of their time and resources to it. But I, for my part, choose to opt out.
